  • Day 1: Arusha to Ndutu or Serengeti / Game drive in the Serengeti Park

    Pick up 0730 am from your hotel Arusha to transfer to park gate, a 3 hour drive, and will do a dame drive for the test of the day.
    Tanzania’s oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains.
    The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates Tanzania’s greatest park. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowls the south eastern plains. You will stay in “safari styled” tents with private shower and toilet facilities and enjoy a good meal in the middle of the African bush.

    Day 2: Follow the Wildebeest Migration

    Full day game drive in Serengeti or Ndutu Area
    Following the Wildebeest Migration in Serengeti
    Ndutu Area – January through April
    Western Serengeti – May through July
    North Mara Bologonja Area – July through October

    Day 3: Follow the Wildebeest Migration / transfer to Central Serengeti

    After breakfast you will continue your safari with en-route game viewing to the central Serengeti and packed lunch at a designation picnic site or if wildlife is near the camp you will end up having hot lunch.
    Serengeti National Park is one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries which remain on the planet earth and the largest National Park of Tanzania. It covers an extension of 15,000 square kilometres. Its name comes from the language of the Masai which means “endless plains” and its landscapes depict the mythical image of an Africa of large spaces, profound blue skies dotted with clouds, cool sunrises and fire red sunsets.

    The Serengeti is situated on a high plateau which extends from east to west from the highlands of Ngorongoro to Lake Victoria and continues to the north to the Masai-Mara reserve in Kenya. The most outstanding characteristic of this gigantic ecosystem is the enormous concentration of herbivore, gnu, zebras, antelope, etc, on its plains and their annual migration.

    Day 4: Central Serengeti game drive / Transfer to Ngorongoro

    After breakfast, Morning game drive in Serengeti National Park,
    afternoon continue transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive to your lodge on the crater rim.
    Main destination: Ngorongoro Crater
    Accommodation: Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge

    Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Tour / Transfer to Arusha ( or book trip extension to Zanzibar )

    After breakfast, 0730am descend onto the Main Crater for game drive.
    The Main Crater: The world’s sixth-largest unbroken caldera, The crater is the flagship tourism feature for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It is a large, unbroken, un-flooded caldera, formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed some three million years ago.
    The crater sinks to a depth of 610 metres, with a base area covering 260 square kms
    Picnic lunch near the hippo pool site.
    Afternoon ascend the crater floor and 3 hour transfer back to Arusha, arrival at 1830.
