Livingstone Airport (LVI) is a 15 minute drive from Stanley Safari Lodge.
Livingstone has daily scheduled flights to Johannesburg and 2x weekly to Kilamanjaro.

LANGUAGE: English is widely spoken.
CLIMATE:
(a) December - March;
The Rainy Season. Days are warm to hot, often with rain, nights are warm. Dress lightly and bring rain gear.
(b) April - May;
Days are warm and sunny and nights are mild. Dress lightly with something warm for evenings.
(c) June - September;
Days are mild to warm and sunny. Nights can be very cold. Bring warm clothes for evening.
(d) October - November;
Days are hot and dry. Nights are warm. In fall area days can be humid.
CLOTHING; Neutral colours on safari and smart casual evening wear for top hotels and restaurants. The Livingstone Room at The Victoria Falls Hotel requires a jacket and tie for evening meals. All camouflage clothing is prohibited in Zimbabwe. Raincoats are available for hire in the Falls area, though due to the inflated cost, it is advisable to take your own.
CURRENCY:
The Zimbabwe currency is the Zimbabwe Dollar (ZWD). Most foreign currency is accepted, though we recommend you take USD and SA RANDS. Please note US$100.00 bills are not accepted in Zimbabwe. Credit cards are accepted, though Flame Lily Holidays suggests, that where possible try pay in cash due to the unfavourable exchange rate.
NATIONAL PARK FEES:
National Park & River usage fees (this includes any activities on the Zambezi River), are not included in the Package Price and will need to be paid on arrival at all National Parks. South African passport holders may receive a 50% discount for entrance into The Falls.
HEALTH & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
A valid passport is required and visas are required by some nationalities. Please check requirements with visa authorities well in advance. Visas are required by South African passport holders however they are free of charge and obtainable on port of entry! No inoculations are required at this time but anti-malaria tablets are advisable year-round, please consult your local General Practioner.
