Option How to reach Uganda: by road or flight, daily from
a) Nairobi Airport/City - 7pm shuttle road transfer ( 12 hours drive ) or 1 hour flight
b) Kilimanjaro Airport ( 1hour 45 minutes drive )
c) Dar es salaam Airport ( luxury coach bus, 24 hours drive or 2hour flight )
d) Mombasa Airport ( 2 hour flight )
1 BEGIN GORILLA TRIP. Arrive Entebbe, met on arrival and transfer by road to Mbarara on good tarmac road (4 hours). Along the way, stop at the Equator, Local Drum makers and take pictures of the Ankole Long Horned Cattle. Dinner and overnight either at Regency Lakeview Hotel or Rwizi Arch. Meal Plan - Lunch and Dinner. TRANSIT TIME 6 HOURS
2 Breakfast early and depart for the Mountain Gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi arriving in time for lunch at the tracking base. In the afternoon, take a self guided walk around the camp along the Munyaga River before returning for sunset views across the Bwindi Forest. Dinner and overnight either at Gorilla Forest Camp or Mantana Bwindi Camp.
