  • Day 1:  Transfer to Lake Manyara

    Today our adventure begins! As soon as we are introduced to our driver guide we will head out for the Lake Manyara National Park. Passing through Tanzania’s Safari Hub – Arusha City – set on the foothills of Mount Meru. Once at the Lake Manyara National Park main entry gate, we will have to go through some registration formalities before entering the Park. We will then proceed on a game drive along the banks of the Lake, enroute to our first overnight at the luxurious Maramboi Tented Camp.

    Day 2:  Central Serengeti

    After early morning breakfast and checkout we will depart to the famous Serengeti plains. We will then traverse along the Crater’s rim and delve into the Serengeti and its fabled, endless plains via the Malanja Depression. Entering the Serengeti National Park, we will pause for a picnic lunch before continuing on an afternoon game drive enroute to Serengeti Ang’ata Tented Camp nestled in the Seronera for your overnight. These days will be fully reserved and flexible to exploring the fabled Seronera plains and tracking down its Big Cats!

    Day 3:  Serengeti

    Today you will spend a full day exploring the North Serengeti, following the Great Wildebeest Migration. Depending on the wildlife, you have the option of either, heading out with packed boxed lunches to maximize your wildlife viewing in Northern Serengeti.  Before continuing on an afternoon game drive along the Mara River for another game drive.

    Day 4: Serengeti

    Today we will go on an early morning game drive to capture the Serengeti’s soul moving awakenings, before returning to the lodge around 08:00 for a relaxed breakfast. We will then continue our full day’s exploration of the Serengeti. Depending on the wildlife, you can opt to either, head out with packed box lunches to maximize your wildlife viewing, or return for a hot lunch.

    Day 5: Central Serengeti

    Today after breakfast check out from your tents,  we shall do a morning game drive near the Mara River, returning to camp for lunch. In the afternoon game drive enroute to Central Serengeti National park for our dinner and final overnight at Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp under the Serengeti stars.

    Day 6:  Ngorongoro

    Today is fully reserved towards exploring the Ngorongoro Crater – arguably Africa’s most magnificent geological feature. After an early breakfast and checking out at 07:00, we will do a morning game drive of the Serengeti’s southern plains enroute to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, exiting the Serengeti within your park permit times. We will then drive further to the Crater’s entry point and descend onto its floor for an afternoon game drive encased by its dramatic walls. Midday, we will pause for lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site, before continuing on game drive. Later in the afternoon, ascend the Crater wall and exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.. A brief hop off the beaten track will take us to Tanzania Ric Lodge, humbly tucked away in Oldeani’s fertile farmlands, for your final overnight in the heart of rural Tanzania – enjoy!

    Day 7:  Tarangire

    Today at dawn after breakfast, we shall head out for an early morning game drive of Tarangire National Park, giving you a glimpse into the park’s awakening,  with packed box lunches to maximize our day exploring Tarangire’s unique ecosystem. After pausing for a picnic lunch out in bush, we shall drive to Sangaiwe Tented Camp in this hidden gem!

    Day 8:  Transfer to Arusha

    After breakfast and checkout we will depart to Arusha City.

    Sadly, it is time to wish farewell to your safari companions as you prepare for your next adventure. You may wish to exchange contacts or take some final photographs, to help preserve fond memories of an extraordinary safari.
